Miller Point Peace Park

Directions:
From the Bridgewater Mall follow Highway 3 down along the LaHave River to Dayspring. There will be a sign for the entrance of the park on the right hand side of the road.

Description:
This park is a great spot for having a family picnic. The trails are nicely wide and fairly easy all around. The park consists of a network of trails along the LaHave River and a dirt road.

In the Spring time you can see Ladyslippers and other wild flowers in amongst the pine trees. You are not allowed to pick any of the wild flowers and there is some sections that are home to Poison Ivy, but if you stay on the trail this is not a problem.

In the winter time, when the LaHave River is frozen over you can see ice fishing shacks that local residents have put on the river.

On our hike through the park we spotted a squirrel and many birds along the way. There is also access to the Dayspring Cemetary through this park.
