Peggy's Cove Lighthouse
Directions:
From Halifax, take Route 333 to Peggy's Cove. Parking is provided although the trip trough town can be tight with lot's a of people and vehicles wanting space on such small roads. You can park outside town and walk to the lighthouse if you prefer.
Description:
Peggy's Cove is probably the most photographed lighthouse in Canada. The view of this lighthouse sitting on top of the huge, vast, smooth rocks is spectacular at any time of the day and any time of the year.
A long time tourist attraction in Nova Scotia, it's visitor numbers increased in recent years after a Swiss-Air plane crashed in the waters off it's coastline and it became the focal point of all news broadcast on the story around the world.
