Beulach Ban Falls

Directions:
This waterfall is located at the end of a dirt road, located midway between Cheticamp and Ingonish on the Cabot Trail. If your coming from Cheticamp the road will be on your right.

Description:
Beulach Ban falls is a easily accessible waterfall that is only a short walk around the corner from the parking lot. Depending on the time of year and how dry or wet the weather has been around the time of your visit, the falls can be home to a small trickle of water or a more spectacular flow of water falling over the edge on the Aspy fault line.

One of the great features about this waterfall is it's location here at the beginning of a 10km (return) hiking trail along the Aspy fault line in Cape Breton. This makes it more accessible to visitors that would not be up for a long hike.

For this trip we just stop at the falls to take some photos, perhaps the next time we will take the full 10km hike along the fault line. Watch for it to show up on NovaTrails in the future. :-)
